Spotted on a Canary Wharf, London billboard. Dell puts Hayek in the number one spot when it promotes its new "Convertible". Can Mises and Rothbard be far behind? This my friends is the real revolution.
I remember when the iPad came out. I went to the Apple store to check it out. When I opened the iBooks app, it had "End the Fed" by Ron Paul as one of the already downloaded books you could read. I was shocked. Someone from Apple had to have downloaded it for it to be on there. And it wasn't just that store, another one I happened to check out had the same selection of ebooks.
Looks cool. Design is cool. Concept is cool. Just one problem . . .
It uses a dual core Atom 1.5 ghz processor. That's like having the body of a Corvette and the engine of a Prius. SloooOOOOOOOOOooooow. And it runs on Windows 7 with 2 gbs of ram. Run away from this. If it had a dual core I3 processor (or higher), it could have worked well. But an Atom? Why, Dell, why?
Save your cash for a Google Honeycomb (Android 3.0) tablet instead. THAT will give an iPad a run for it's money.
