Access to Capital Day for Geithner

This means, of course, propaganda on how tax payer money will be taken and diverted to the connected, access is exactly right! As far as topics like "Financing Small-Cap Companies: IPOs". This is a total joke. Securities regulations have totally wiped out the small-cap IPO market. Unless a company has found a major venture capital firm to sponsor them, the deal won't get done honestly. The only groups that do small cap deals (outside of the venture capital deals), are very often mob connected, since they are the only ones who are not afraid to ignore the overbearing regulations. But, of course, they will rip off both the investors in these companies and the companies themselves. It's tragic, but completely the result of absurd securities regulations.

Panel moderators for this  nonsense will include Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, Small Business Administration Administrator Karen Mills, and Scott Case, CEO of the Startup America Partnership and Co-founder of Priceline. The conference is called, Access to Capital: Fostering Growth and Innovation for Small Companies
