Fed economist David Andolfatto, who called Congressman Ron Paul a pinhead and said his argument about the Fed devaluing the dollar was stupid, has emailed me with regard to my post on his comments. He writes:

subject Hello from a Pinhead
Good morning, Robert.
I'll try to reply to your post as time permits (I write my blog during my spare time).
You want to know something funny? I actually like Ron Paul and would vote for him (if I was permitted to vote).
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. You ask some good questions in your post and I'll do my best to address them.
Sincerely,
David
That's odd. Any idea why he isn't allowed to vote?
ReplyDeleteI actually like Ron Paul and would vote for him (if I was permitted to vote).
ReplyDeleteThe apparent cognitive dissonance here seems to be multivariate and complex. I can't wait to see what happens!
Would also be curious to know how Fed economists are hearing about EPJ through the grapevine.
ReplyDeleteHey David,
ReplyDeleteIf you're reading this, quit your job at the fed. It's bad for you and the rest of us.

Oh, goody. We pinheads are waiting with eager anticipation.
ReplyDeleteI just checked out his Facebook. It looks like he isn't even an American:

It looks like he grew up in British Columbia, Canada.
What's the point? Andolfatto's rebuttals were blown apart by the "unwashed masses" in the comment sections that he's had the "courage" to engage. I guess hes trying to turn this into a career-ender...
