Highest Radiation Level Yet Reported at Reactor 2
Radiation at the Fukushima No.2 nuclear reactor was recorded at 500 microsieverts per hour on March 18, Japan's nuclear safety agency said on Wednesday, according to Reuters. This is the highest level yet reported at the plant. Not good.
This data for last week Friday is the most recent data released. It is unclear as to the reason in the delay in releasing data other than a suspicion of foot dragging by Japanese authorities. Despite the fact that attention deficit order has kicked in with mainstream media, it does not appear that the Fukushima plant is anywhere near under control. The possible consequences for those living in Tokyo remains alarming.
