Incredible Advances in Photographic Crowd Snooping

This link leads to a picture of the crowd at President Obama's inauguration in 2009.

It's a huge crowd, but click on any specific figure in the crowd, zoom in and see what happens.. You can bring up a clear picture of that specific person's face.

In fact, if you zoom in just behind the President, Supreme Court Justice Scalia looks mighty cold and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas might be sleeping.

  1. Check out the woman that is sitting 2-3 rows directly in front of the TV tower in the middle. She is wearing a fur hat and coat. If you zoom in close enough you can see that she is looking directly at the camera!

  2. Astonishing resolution, indeed. And so many people out in the cold with no good reason to trust Pope Hope, the Great Father on the Potomac.

Also they are pretty grainy still, try to read what's on the music stands closest to the camera.

  4. check out the guy 4 rows back of Dubya (or 4 seats over and 1 row back of Hillary)...something's wrong with his head--caught in a time warp or something.
