Ron Paul: Presidential Run will Depend on the Economy

“I’m undecided, that’s the truth,” Ron Paul said today in Des Moines, Iowa about the possibility that he will run for the the Republican presidential nomination, according to the Des Moines Register. “But I have said in the past, that if there’s a major economic crisis worse than what we have now … I’d feel almost obligated since I’ve spent my lifetime warning about a dollar crisis.”

Paul was in Des Moines to deliver two speeches, one at a Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators event. At the event he said rising prices are just one indicator that more economic woes could be ahead for the nation, reports the Des Moines Register.

“There’s a revolution going on in this country,” he told hundreds who gathered on the capitol steps just to hear his first speech of the two speeches. “The problem is, it hasn’t quite reached Washington yet.”

  1. I can't imagine or see any way the economy will be rebounding in the next 10 years, let alone the next 4 - that said I think this is nearly a guarantee Dr. Paul will be running.

More QE's means RP as a nominee!

Mr. Paul has been to Washington since 1957. The revolution has been going on long before he arrived there. Mr. Paul is very astute and smart, but has failed to garner the American people needed to achieve the real revolution. Washington knows of this revolution, and has played the American public like a violin. No change will ever happen in Washington.

I will let George explain it to you.
