New Gallup Poll: Trump in Tie For First Place

The latest Gallup Poll shows Donald Trump in a tie for first place with Mike Huckabee. They both have 16% support from Republicans. Ron Paul received 6%. Gary Johnson's support comes in at under 1%. Of note, 14% hold no opinion.

The average Republican voter, who hates Obama more than anything (first mistake: thinking Obama is anything unusual) is stupid enough to vote for Trump, who is on record as being for socialized medicine, and whose campaign is being run by a registered Democrat who voted for Obama. With this bunch deciding the nominee, Ron Paul's chances are slim to none.

    Still, it could be worse. If a former general enters the race, we might end up with a full-fledged military dictatorship. Nothing gets the conservative brown shirts excited like the prospect of a "strong leader" who won't hesitate to kill muslims and jail critics of the warfare state. When they elect a general, that's when I move abroad.
