Ron Paul's House is for Sale

Ron Paul has set up  a website announcing that his Luke Jackson, Texas house  is for sale. Asking price: $325,000.

The post says that it is:
A great house and a great piece of history...  The house has 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and is approximately 5,500 sq. ft in size. There is a great in-ground swimming pool, great landscaping... Generations of Liberty loving kids have grown up here, and you can continue the tradition.

[Specifically, it is a]5,500 square feet house with 4 bedrooms, 2 with lofts, 5 bathrooms, an oversize pool, a large office with built-in book shelves, 2 car garage, a formal dining room, living room, family room, and a craft room. Ron and Carol lived there for 42 years, lots of great memories in this house. 50 minutes to Houston, 10 minutes from Surfside Beach.
Sounds like a deal to me. This has to be considered a truly historic home, given that it is/was the residence of  one of the America's greatest liberty loving leaders since Thomas Jefferson. If you live in Texas, or are considering moving to Texas, and are looking for a new home, buy this house before Bernanke money printing pushes the prices of all houses higher.

According to USA Today:
Paul's spokesman Jesse Benton said the congressman and his wife recently built a new house. Thanksgiving dinner at the Paul household was a little cramped last year, boasting 42 people at the table. Carol Paul wanted a house with enough room to fit the five children, 18 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and spouses.

Ron: I think the country needs me, Sweetie. I'm going to announce my run on the 19th.

Carol: I might agree to that. Let me see.... This house seems awfully small....
