Soros Visits Greek Prime Minister

Georger Soros, the man who has a hundred diabolical plots running simultaneously throughout the world, traveled to the near bankrupt Greece, on Monday, to meet with leadership there.

Prime Minister George Papandreou held a meeting with Soros at the premier's office in Parliament, according to the Greek web site, ana.gr. The meeting was later attended by Greek Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou.

Although no official statement was made, it may not be out of bounds to speculate that Greece is planning a "rescheduling" of its debt, i.e. bankruptcy. As I reported early this morning before I was aware of the Soros visit, Nouriel Roubini is out with a report that Greece may have to reschedule its debt. I also wrote:
Nouriel Roubini is the most connected economist in the business. Most central banks have him on their payroll. He is not going to let this type speculation occur under the RGE banner unless he has talked to people who are very close to the situation and are telling him that Greece is going down.

It just so happens that Roubini and Soros are tight. When Roubini had a small house warming party, Soros was among the attendees. Did Soros drop a dime and fill Roubini in on the Greek plan?

  1. Well that did it. Now that I know Rubini and Soros are "tight". I will ignore anything Rubini has to say from now on.
