Monday is China Day for Geithner

On Monday, Treasury Secretary Geithner will attend the 2011 U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue in Washington, DC.

In the morning, Secretary Geithner will deliver remarks at the opening session of the S&ED at the Department of Interior. Vice President Biden, Secretary Clinton, Chinese Vice Premier Wang and Chinese State Councilor Dai will also deliver remarks.

Later in the morning, Secretary Geithner will deliver remarks at the opening session of the Economic Track of the S&ED at the Treasury Department.

In the late morning and afternoon, the Secretary will attend meetings of the S&ED at the Treasury Department.

In the evening, the Secretary will meet with President Obama, Vice President Biden, Secretary Clinton, Chinese Vice Premier Wang and Chinese State Councilor Dai at the White House.

Later in the evening, Secretary Geithner and Secretary Clinton will deliver toasts at the beginning of an S&ED banquet at the State Department.
