Russian Central Bank Raises Rates

The Central Bank of Russia  continued with its tightening cycle, raising the refinancing and deposit rates by 25 basis points.

Price inflation has been climbing in Russia and, in typical central bank style, rates are being raised at a snails pace. This will slow the manipulated economy, but keep the inflation fires burning.
