  1. I'm glad he's feeling well enough for that.

After all, he's a great AMERICAN iCON!

  2. I think Apple recognizes the fortuity of this particular WWDC with respect to various events and non-events in the industry, and wants to make the most of it. PC sales are dropping because of the iPad and the Mac, would-be tablet competitors have faltered, Android developers aren't making the kind of money some expected, Microsoft, Nokia, and RIM have made some really stupid strategic moves, etc. This is a nice clean, out in the open, all by itself, event to throw the spotlight on some significant new Apple products which may very well leapfrog everything else out there.

  3. Is this new iOS designed for music? I hope this will be good cause I really want this one even though I don't know much about it yet. I just want it for its name. "iCloud", cool.

  4. The main reason why the iPhone 4 appears to be slower than other phones that also carries a 1ghz processor is because the A4 processor is tuned down to 800mhz instead of 900 or even not at all like some of the other phones in order to reduce power consumption. The next iPhone will have a dual core processor, 1 gig of ram and an 8 mpxl camera when all of the other phones have quad core, 2 gigs, and 12 mpxl camera. The iPhone is already outdated and they cannot afford to wait. Oh wait they can because everyone buys their products no matter what.this is so great!

  5. “Apple confirmed that iCloud is coming as a cloud services “offering”, i.e. all the reports about a free version mobileme are just bogus.

  6. This business model depends on people being stupid enough to pay for access to material they already have on their computers. Money for the service, money for the phone service, and all of this counts against your wireless data cap.

  7. However, the company has openly admitted that it will be showing iOS 5, as well as iCloud, the company's "upcoming cloud services offering." The company normally prefers to surprise the public and the media with new products....

  8. Yea thats about as far from a breakthrough as it gets. The breakthrough they need, like Justin said, is to allow 3rd party software on their products, and stop trying to drive established venues out of the market. Sooner or later they and Microsoft (who has already seen the writing on the wall) will have to realize Open Source is the future of software anyhow

  9. Apple has not revealed the exact benefits of the icloud service, it is predicted that this will be another successful breakthrough. With neither both the Google and the Amazon.com not having a legal/secured deals with the recording companies, Apple is showing signs of reigning, by having talks with the four top recording companies to enable its users, to have their songs uploaded avoiding the time consuming step of having every song uploaded onto the online storage locker.
