Trump Crashes in Polls

The latest results from Public Policy Polling show Donald Trump has fallen to fifth place as the presidential choice among likely Republican presidential voters.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was the leading preferred candidate among Republican voters, with 19 percent support in this week's survey. He was followed by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney with 18 percent, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich with 13 percent, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with 12 percent. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas came in with 8 percent and Trump also registered 8 percent support.

  1. The only way Donald can have any hope of being nominated is to lay out a detailed plan of action and state how he would get it into law. It would have to be a plan that the people can easily see is something that will work. No candidate has ever done that, except arguably the Contract With America Republicans of '94. It's the only way he'd have a chance to stand out from the crowd.
