Chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers to Bail Out of White House

Austan Goolsbee, a longtime adviser to President Obama, plans to leave his position  as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers by September, after a year in the job, to return to the University of Chicago. reports NYT.

I guess this means it is even less likely that he will respond to the December, 2008 email I sent to him.

Summers, Romer, Orszag, and now Goolsbee, gone.

I've made this joke before, but he's to be replaced by Ellsworth Toohey.

  2. No no no, didn't you understand? Ellsworth Toohey will *choose* his replacement, not be it.
