The New York Federal Reserve has put online the 1937 dedication by FDR of the then Fed's new headquarters in Washington D.C.
Of note, FDR does not in the clip mention a Fed mandate of stable prices (this was afterall 1937), but instead mentions the Fed helping provide every American with an ever rising standard of American comfort.
The clip is here. Note there is a 17 second delay before the clip starts. And in a bit of poetic justice, the Fed was not able to upload the clip without also uploading a part of the next clip titled, Bright Light Capers.
