Geithner's Busy Wednesday Schedule

Finally recuperated from July fourth, Treasury Secretary Geithner has a full schedule.

In the morning, Geithner will meet with Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis at Treasury.

In the afternoon, the Secretary will attend the President’s meeting with Congressional Leadership at the White House to discuss the ongoing efforts to deficit reduction.

Later in the afternoon, Secretary Geithner will chair a closed session of the Financial Stability Oversight Council to review and prepare materials for next week’s FSOC meeting, which will be focused on the one-year anniversary of the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
