I wonder how much they can raise them without losing customers ?
ReplyDeleteIn my locale, McDonald's large coffee is a $1.07 including meals tax and local meals tax.
Dunkin Donuts large coffee is 2.24 including meals tax and local meals tax.
I go to McDonald's most of the time needless to say.
I have noticed at both chain restaurants and local places in the last few months that the prices really haven't increased too much, but the portions definitely have. Smaller amounts of food for the same price is indeed inflation, though it is something that will not show up in inflation stats or that most people will notice.
