There are two weeks before congressional leaders must name their choices to fill the 12-member slate, but lobbyists already are gaming out how to influence committee recommendations to the panel and how they can protect low-hanging fruit like carried interest and oil and gas tax subsidies and the ethanol tax credit.
Create a power center and people will attempt to influence the power center. The 'Super Congress' is a super power center. If you don't have a lobbyist working this super power center, you will be on the cutting table.
You can bet Dr. Paul and his ilk will not be invited by the crooks who just robbed us to be on this committee. You can also be sure their reach will go beyond financial matters and impact everyday affairs of our lives. Get ready for slavery.
