Boston Globe: Ron Paul Gaining Momentum in N.H. Primary

The establishment Boston Globe reports:
...last night, a Suffolk University poll of likely New Hampshire voters found Paul in second place. While former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney maintained a huge lead over all his competitors, Paul was leading the pack of other contenders at 14 percent, with his closest rival, former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, four points back...  a second place showing in the first-in-the-nation primary would have enormous significance for a candidate like Huntsman or Paul

  1. It seems odd that Romney would have a big lead over Paul in NH of all places. Doesn't it? (non-rhetorical question)

  2. Not that many Free Staters in NH yet, David. And there are LOTS of Massachusetts voters who moved to NH due to tax reasons. Romney enjoys their support being from right next door.

  3. The GOP will probably cancel NH for "lack of interest."

  4. It was a strategic move years in the making by Rommey to stack NH with his supporters.

  5. @ Kyle D,

It is truly inexplicable that these people forced by Rommey's policies would still support him.

Touche. Just as inexplicable that most people won't wake up in general. People seem to love status quo; it allows them to continue hating the status quo.

  7. I guess Mark Levin was wrong, as usual, for his prediction that Ron paul would not move up in the polls and there was no growing support for him....

    LOL @ Levin
