Austan Goolsbee, the former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Obama administration, participated in an NPR Q&A that was supposed to be light and funny.
During the interview, Goolsbee made a joke about the desperate economic situation in Europe. I think the joke has to be filed under "There's truth within many jokes."
Overall, Goolsbee is pretty funny. Not as funny as economist Bob Murphy, but pretty funny. The Goolsbee interview is here.
