The Lying Cain on His Position about Auditing the Fed

Herman Cain, candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, will release a book on October 4, This Is Herman Cain!: My Journey to the White House

Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book and reports that in the book:
Cain said [Ron]Paul’s fan [sic] have “stretched the truth” by accusing him of not wanting to audit the fed.

“I have never said that,” Cain wrote. “I have said: ‘I don’t think you’re going to find anything to audit on the Federal Reserve.’ But they want you to believe that Herman Cain doesn’t want the Federal Reserve to be audited.”:
In the below clip, Cain says, while hosting the Neil Boortz Radio Show on 12/29/10, in reference to an audit of the Fed:

We don't need to waste money with another commission or an audit that is not necessary.
Cain is a former deputy chairman (1992–94) and chairman (1995–96) of the board of directors to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

Cain sure backs up organizations he has been previously affiliated with. He has been calling for an increase in defense spending, but rarely mentions the fact that he worked as a mathematician in ballistics as a civilian employee of the United States Navy.

  2. That show was on 12/29/2010 ???!!! -
Just earlier in 2010 there was a *partial* audit of the Federal Reserve revealing that at least $19 TRillion in *secret* loans were given to foreign banks in 2009 and $9 TRillion printed that went unaccounted for!!! How can he say there is nothing to discover in an audit??? How can he say the Federal Reserve "has nothing to hide"???

  3. Some folks, like Herman Cain, still don't seem to grasp the concept of truth....or the 'net.

What you said yesterday is easily found right now.

Another one bites the dust! Goodbye Herman......

  4. That is funny considering how much info came out about the Fed loaning money to all sorts of foreign nations, so his line about not finding anything out has already been proven false.

  5. As bad as Obamovic is..I won't mind voting for a Romney-Cain ticket in 2012 (if RP loses). The current administration is pursuing outright socialist policies (economically) with a Fabian foreign policy.

Hell, i'll take the Republican's feel-good fascism any day..as a small business owner I am having sleepless nights under this admin.

  6. anon @ 11:59: I don't see what exactly you expect to change with an establishment GOP president. Obama is Bush's 3rd term and Romney/Cain would be his 4th.

  7. Actually it was in 2011 that the $16 Trillion in secret loans was revealed, but in early 2010 the $9 Trillion that went "unaccounted for" was revealed, so Herman Cain was completely lying through his teeth when he said "there's nothing to find!"
And even now, in republican debates he says, "the Federal Reserve is NOT an important issue."
