Under the headline,
Insane Geniuses Collide, Seth Mason writes about
my interview of Peter Schiff last week:
The hyperbolic but correct Robert Wenzel interviewed yesterday the hyperbolic but correct Peter Schiff. The results were, as expected, volatile and even a little frightening. Topics covered included:
- The secretive Koch Conference in Aspen that Peter attended
- How to get a job on Wall Street
- How regulators have stifled him in his attempts to grow his business
- The real problem with the Facebook deal
- What the next crash is going to look like
- Much, much more
So grab some popcorn and maybe even a drink or two. You'll need it.
Insane must be the latest word for "really awesome"?
ReplyDeleteI don't think you guys are THAT hyperbolic, ha ha. I like my analysis mixed together with a dash of passion - makes me think someone gives a darn out there besides me. Great discussion with Mr. Dilorenzo by the way. I especially enjoyed the distinction he made between conservationism and environmentalism. I had a similar discussion with my environmental engineering professor about conservationism and environmentalism. We had to write a short paper on "sustainability." Ug. Fortunately he thought it was bs too.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the interview but "frightening" is a weird way to describe it haha. That would fit the Gary Johnson interview much better.
ReplyDeleteI suppose that "hyperbolic" wasn't the best choice of words. "Spirited" may have been better. As far as "frightening", I was referring to what Peter said about the coming crash and the corruption in Washington and on Wall Street. But I really enjoyed the interview, and I love this blog!
