UPDATE: On Tampa Pre-RNC Paul Festival

The Paul Festival reports:
We want to thank everyone for their support, all the calls to the RNC and the Florida State Fairgrounds is paying off. We are finalizing the details with the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL for August 24, 25 and 26th. Tuesday, June 12th, we will announce our final venue for the Festival. If the final discussion with the RNC does not allow us to have the Tampa venue, we will sign a contract with the Central Florida State Fair Grounds in Orlando. Both locations have great advantages and can accommodate large crowds and have on site RV parking and hook-ups. We have hotels and campgrounds reserved in both cities and we still have all the Ronvoys set up for all attendees including Delegates. In addition we will have a great line up of speakers and entertainers. Once again thank you for the support and we will see you in Florida.

  1. I kind of hope the RNC denies them. It will make the convention a lot more interesting because the Ron Paul supporters will be in a vengeful mood.

It's embarrassing either way for the RNC because no one is rallying for Romney. The RNC has to choose between being embarrassed by a huge Ron Paul rally and hopefully maintaining order at the convention or having a raucous convention the will embarrass the party on national tv.

    1. I just attended the Texas Republican convention where there were many Ron Paul supporters. The event was extremely respectful and the interaction between Ron Paul supporters and Romney supporters was not that of hostility but of concern for taking back America. People forget sometimes that it is not about the person, but of the message and solutions to fight the destruction of our Constitution. As Republicans, were are in this together and together we can find common ground so long as it remains purposeful and respectful in the process.

    2. A Republican talking about common ground and togetherness? Who ARE you?

  2. I guess the Rand Paul endorsement is already working its magic.

  3. Genuine Ron Paul supporters are committed to liberty, sound money, and most importantly in this case, the Zero Aggression Principle/nonaggression principle, call it what you like: the sure knowledge that it is NEVER, ever acceptable to initiate force against another or that person's property.

  6. I think Ron Paul will shock the hell out of some people at the convention and will take over the Republican party. He's not a quitter and I really don't think he will let these people scare him out after all the hard work and effort froom all of us as well as his family. I can't imagine what these people are saying to him and his family for threats but I'm sure he is in a real bad position. They have literally stole the election from him and pisses me off congress or the House havn't done anything about this!! We all just need to be praying for Ron Paul and his family and for our country and GOD will be there with an answer for all of us!!

  7. RP is not a quitter, but he sure seems to have given up on the white house. I think that he doesn't want his delegates to loose the progress toward liberty by strong arming him into the white house. His presidential responsibilities would be tough, but even tougher with the GOP leaders mad. They already don't like him, his message, us or our convictions. In my opinion, he wants us to be ready to catch the republic when the fiat money system fails. He wants us to pick up whats left. Sorros and Obama will have the solutions for us, but thanks to RP, we know what's important and what's good for America. Thanks Ron! BTW: I sure wish that he would leave Tampa, and announce that he is running as an independent. I will vote for Ron Paul!
