Does the FBI and CIA Troll Social Media?

Former CIA Clandestine Service Trainee, DIA Analyst, Lynnae Williams says, "Yes." She tweets:
#FBI lies when it says it doesn't #troll #FaceBook & wasn't #monitoring the #Marine who is #psychiatric #detained

#FBI #CIA #DHS #NSA all the 3 letter agencies are #tolling #social #media

I watched a video when I was a #CIA #Trainee about CIA's #Atlanta #Station #trolling the #internet to #target #potential foreign #recruits

#CIA's #Atlanta #Station looks to the #internet for #leads to see who they can #target for #recruitment who they can get to spy for them

#CIA #video I watched of #Atlanta #Station #Staff says they usually #target #discussion boards etc. looking for #Chinese targets

We have all read #open source on #internet about #FBI #trolling #social #media, they lie when they say they don't

Problem for #FBI #CIA #NSA etc. they have to #troll through all the #crap on #Social #Media to decide who to target but they have #software

#CIA #Atlanta #Station does what are called #over the #horizon operations going into places like #China for one day coming back to #US

Makes sense for #CIA to have a big #operation in #Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson #Airport is busiest #airport in country or 2nd behind #Chicago

  1. I'm convinced there has to be something else this kid was involved in when he was active. This Facebook business was a good excuse but not the real reason.

Then again, it stands to reason if that was the case, they could have just "suicided" him. Nope, he's got a big carrot that he's dangling somewhere and this was the "best" they could do.

  2. Wait, if citizens spend more time on social media, and the state responds by spending more time on social media, and this is more or less peaceful, then won't the state be compelled to spend less time doing more violent things?

If so, wouldn't that be definitive evidence that the state is a social institution whose members ultimately seek to control other people's minds?

  3. I'm sure these agencies do troll social media, but that doesn't mean Brandon Raub wasn't brought to their attention by one of his "fellow Americans" who didn't like his political views.

Raub was informed on by an anonymous facebook user, then recommended for psychiatric evaluation by an anonymous psychiatrist, which provided the legal cover for the judge to have him committed. No potential there for abuse!

Trust me when I say, I know people who would happily have others committed to a pysch ward for their religious/political views. Most of them are left-wingers, but some are neo-cons (is there any difference?). My guess is that the psychiatrist who signed off on this is a mean-spirited little tyrant who didn't like Raub's politics.

  4. The three-letter agencies would be foolish if they were not following social media but that doesn't excuse their actions in this case. Spies do what spies do. No story there. It's the Stasiesque actions that they take with the intelligence gleaned from spying that crosses the line.

  5. There is software developed specifically for interacting on forums. One package reportedly allows one person to use up to 4 different personas. If I'm not mistaken, the US Air Force is involved.

On www.TheTreeofLiberty.com/vb/, SnoopyG appeared on Christmas Eve 2011, indicating that he is FBI. He has made a total of 3 posts. The objective seems to be intimidation.
