Obama's Money Raising Weekend in Rahmaland

People do want access.

President Barack Obama zig-zagged across town Sunday and collected as much as $4 million for his re-election bid from hometown backers, reports the Sun Times.

After a Bridgeport major public event that cost attendees $51, Obama got down to serioius business and returned to his Chicago home for a fund-raiser in the backyard. . Tickets for that fund-raiser were $40,000 and 100 attended. He also had an exclusive fund-raiser at the Sheraton Hotel downtown. According to a campaign official, the event involved 25 people who also donated $40,000 each.

There was also a $5,000-per-person photo reception at the home of close friend Marty Nesbitt and his wife, Anita Blanchard.

The final event in the president’s fund-raising weekend was a $1,000-per-person reception at the home of Barbara Bowman, mother of White House senior advisor Valerie Jarrett.
