  1. I'm sure I'm going to kick myself when I hear the answer but what happened last year around August/Sept/Oct that caused many stock markets to have a big drop? I know April 2011 was Fukushima, which is why Japan had a big drop at that point. But what happened a few months later and why did it affect so many markets around the world?
