Lawyer for Assange Was Detained at Heathrow

A lawyer for WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says she was stopped at Heathrow and told that she was on a secret watch-list and required special clearance before she could board her plane, reports the Daily Mail.

Australian Jennifer Robinson said she was left stunned after being told  by an airline crew that she was on an ‘inhibited person list’.

The incident occurred when  she was trying to board a Virgin Atlantic plane from Heathrow to Sydney, where she was going to attend a Commonwealth lawyers’ conference. Eventually, she was issued with a boarding pass and allowed to catch  her flight.

  1. This is going to spread to any peaceful American who does not embrace their slavery and love Big Brother. If it bankrupts some of the junior partners in crime, the airlines, I'm all for that.

  3. This story is a little old...it broke back in April. Nice to see MSM acknowledging it - even if it is 4 months late...

  4. Paging Mr. Putin. Detaining lawyers defending political undesirables is straight out of his playbook.
