President Obama now leads Republican Mitt Romney by ten points -- 53%-43% -- in the key swing state of Ohio, according to the Quinnipiac University/New York Times/CBS News survey. Obama's lead is nine points in Florida, 53%-44%.
Both Obama and Romney campaign today in Ohio.
The first presidential debate is a week from today.
Election over. Hello! Election over. What a boring and useless spectacle this has turned out to be. Where are you Dr.Paul.
ReplyDeleteCalling what these two plan on engaging in a "debate" is undeserved and too strong a word.
ReplyDeleteJust saying.
I absolutely have zero faith in many of these polls. I picked Obama to win the Presidency prior to him winning the Iowa caucus back in the winter of 2008. At the same time I picked him to be a one term president because I knew what he was peddling economically. I'm more convinced of that prescience today, than I was a 4 years ago.
ReplyDeleteBack in '08 I was doing a lot of house searching, in the southern portion of northern VA, and so obviously a lot of traveling, much of it in rural areas. The amount of political posters I saw on individual private properties was absolutely astounding, and was easily 3 to 1 for Obama, in a republican state no less. Lately I've been traveling about for some golf tournaments, and just last week I noticed an Obama sign, and it dawned on me, this is the first new Obama sign I've seen all year! Last election cycle this area was inundated with Obama posters, and now I have to go searching to find one. The President is not going to like November.
