The Desk of Gary Gensler

NYT is running this pic of Commodity Futures Commission chairman Gary Gensler in his office. The pic seems to have been taken at just enough of a distance so that most details can't be made out. If you can spot anything interesting leave a comment. I'm most curious about the book on his desk in the far left of the picture.

  1. The cover of the book on the left-hand side reminds me of the cover for John Keegan's The First World War. Just a guess, though.

  6. A little curious that the two similar books side-by-side in the front are facing us, not the desk occupant.
