Romney de-neoconned himself, for at least one night: does this mean his promised appointment of John Bolton as SecState is off? I think not

The Prez said 3 times that we need to stop nation-building abroad & start doing it at home. & no one's calling him an "isolationist"

Neither candidate wanted to talk about foreign policy -- because the differences between them are negligible.

Obama and Romney are the same on Foreign Policy?
ReplyDeleteSay it ain't so, Joe!

What a show of political theater. In front of the cameras for Joe 6-Pack we get one show, but reality is what exists when the cameras are off. Raimondo's first tweet is so perfect - behind the scenes, AIPAC et al. have figured out how to grease and influence those who don't tow the line.
ReplyDeleteWhat's easiest to note is that the countries we don't invade and are our erstwhile friends have prominent lobbyists and fixtures on K St; those who don't (and don't have nukes!) - best of luck to you!
Raimondo is a must read over at antiwar.com.
Obama's foreign policy is a train wreck. Romney doesn't have a foreign policy beyond bombing Israel's adversaries.
ReplyDeleteIf these are the best two candidates, America's political system is hopelessly broken.
