Details on Tonight's Debate

Topic: Foreign policy

Air Time: 9:00-10:30 p.m. Eastern Time

Location: Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida

Sponsor: Commission on Presidential Debates

Participants: President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney

Moderator: Bob Schieffer, the Host of Face the Nation on CBS, establishment tool, and Ron Paul-hater.

The format for the debate will be identical to the first presidential debate and will focus on foreign policy.

  1. aside from the debate, the election could be like 2000. The result could be contested for long ugly time.

  2. It'll be interesting to see if the drone strike king goes dovish to try to appeal to the now largely silent anti-war left or if he'll go hawkish to try to appear "strong" like Romney...who will obviously be chuming the Neocon waters with some good ole fashion American war drum beating.

    1. I'd say he went all hawkish. He said "Israel" every other sentence and was big on how he was CinC and had gotten a lot of people killed and stuff.
The base has no where else to go.

  3. Predictions:
Schieffer will interrupt Romney 19 times, and Obama twice
Obama will be allowed more time to speak.
Schieffer will correct Romney 8 times. One of his corrections will be correct, and one will be partially correct.
Media will declare Obama the winner of the debate, 20% will have made the call before the debate, the rest after.
