France Drops Rape Investigation into ex-IMF Head Strauss-Kahn

Hmmm, just days after reports that Nicolas Sarkozy may have ordered the killing of Muammar Gaddaffi, to help his French presidential re-election bid, rape charges have been dropped against Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

France's prosecution service said in a statement it had taken the decision after a young woman retracted an allegation against the 63-year-old.

Prior to the French rape charges and similar charges in NYC, DSK was considered the front-runner that would beat Sarkozy.
