I don't favor legal controls, but it is scandalous how much influence billionaire Sheldon Adelson wields over Romney and the political process in general.
ReplyDeleteIt is unfortunate. However, the fundamental problem isn't that Adelson spends so much money, it's that close to 300 million people fall for all these tricks the republicans and democrats play.
DeletePart way through this cycle it became clear to Adelson that there was no going back. If Romney loses, Adelson will be attacked by the full apparatus of the state. Too late to back off, he's doubling down.
