Keeping an Eye on Botswana

The empire can never sleep.


On Thursday, Deputy Treasury Secretary Neal Wolin will be in Gaborone, Botswana for meetings with senior government officials and business leaders to discuss "the government’s successful management of revenues and express U.S. support for the government’s efforts to promote economic diversification and new engines of growth."

In the morning, the Deputy Secretary will meet with the Director of Botswana's Financial Intelligence Agency, Jackson Madzima. He will next meet with Finance Minister Kenneth Matambo at the Finance Ministry. T.

Next, Deputy Secretary Wolin will meet with Vice President Ponatshego Kedikilwe at the Office of the Vice President.
