One Place You Won't Find a Ban on Guns

File under: Typical elitist hypocracy.

President Obama sends his kids to a school where armed guards are used.

Brietbart's Awr Hawkins reports:
The school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, has 11 security officers and is seeking to hire a new police officer as we speak
So what is this? Are Obama's kid more precious than those of other Americans? Why isn't Sidwell a no gun zone, if that is really the answer?

  1. WAKE UP AMERICANS! Our constitution has been assaulted. The 1st, 2nd, 4th, 8th and other amendments have been attacked for far too long. The government has turned into a beast of its own and that beast has turned rabid against its own people. It's time to stand up and defend the constitution. If you don't like the u.s. constitution as it reads, then leave. It's that simple.-03 USMC

    1. You're an idiot. The USC wAs discarded by Lincoln, so violations are nothing new. Why do I have to leave, why not clueless idiots like you? Do you have some special right to dictate to others?

    2. Clueless idiot huh? You solidified my point of the constitution being attacked for too long. It's time we go back to the basics. Back to liberty of choice. Back to raising kids with good morals and manners, instead of everyone is a winner and putting the responsibility of raising our kids on teachers and television. You're attacking me for saying if you don't like our rules and rights then leave? How is that dictatorship? I want freedom for our people from our government. If you would like to be an American citizen then don't try and bend the words of our constitution to fit your agenda when there's plenty of other countries that don't allow guns, freedom of speech, right to fair trial, allow search and seizure without probable cause, etc. That's all. I'm no idiot. I'm an average American that is tired of this cup cake, victim, blinded society that won't do anything to stop the gov from turning into a dictatorship. Obamacare for example, is totally unconstitutional and its going to hurt employers and employees alike. The dollar is going to bottom out because Americans, including myself til recently, haven't been paying attention to what's going on with our monetary system. I'm not trying to be mean. Just simple. I don't want to hand my kids the corpse of a dead republic and life under tyranny. We are America and we do things different here. I love this country and want to get Americans to realize what we have been allowing to happen to us for a long time. I once was blind and a skeptic, but I was always a patriot and a lover of liberty. The double standard that they can take my guns for defense of myself and my family but have a squad size element that is armed to defend their family is an obvious statement of socialism. I'm not leaving because I love what the u.s. constitution stands for. So much that I served my country in defense of it and its people, not in defense of the government and their poor policies.-03 USMC

    3. You two may agree on more than you think, and I believe you both have honorable intentions. I also believe you are both wrong. The constitution is an example of never letting a crisis go to waste. The crisis was Shay's Rebellion. Shay's Rebellion was a rebellion against taxes. They used it to massively centralize power. It is such a failed document it required 10 immediate changes to convince people to support it. All "restricting" the feds power, with the last one actually saying EVERYTHING ELSE is left to the states. The very first act of the new congress exposed it's true purpose, paying off worthless war bonds at full face value in gold. It's what overlords do.

  2. Hmmm, maybe because the constant attempts to disarm Americans are exactly what those "paranoid conspiracy theorists" say they are.

  3. At least this picture gives us our answer as to how to keep our kids safe. NPR keeps using a straw-man argument about how we want to arm teachers.

If you hired these security guards at every school, you'd have your answer.

The only problem is that the price is probably steep, and I'd be curious to see how Americans would vote on local referendums to raise taxes specifically to pay for security guards at every school. Lots of people will take their chances to save some money.
