ABC Chicago has the details:
Chicago authorities say seven people were killed and six wounded in gun violence in one day.Still waiting for Paul Krugman to whistle his way through the south-side of Rahmaland, so he can demonstrate how gun control laws work.
Among those killed Saturday was a 34-year-old man whose mother had already lost her three other children to shootings. Police say Ronnie Chambers, who was his mother's youngest child, was shot in the head while sitting in a car.
In one, a 16-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man were killed.
In another, two men were shot at a hamburger stand on the city's South Side. Police say the victims were roommates in their 40s.
Just sad, those poor people.
ReplyDeleteKrugman has a master plan for Chicago and the nation as a whole. You see, when people are slaughtered prematurely, they don't collect Social Security or Medicare, which keeps these Ponzi schemes afloat longer.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, the shootings provide a pretext for more police, paramedics, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, coroners, etc.
All of the property that gets damaged needs to be replaced, providing more jobs for construction workers.
Call it the Broken Window Solution to our economic woes. Genius!
Rahm Emanuel should be removed from office immediately and sued personally for the gun control laws.
ReplyDeleteEven if it did not make it to court, it might draw some national attention that gun control is worthless, and dangerous.
Rahm and his brother, a medical doctor and policy maker for Obama, have acted in deleterious ways to enact sociopathic legislation. By sociopathic, I mean no attempt to decipher what goes on in their heads. What they have implemented makes a mockery of the "common good" principle.
In 2011 there were a total of 323 people killed with a rifle, which includes justifiable homicide and LEO shootings, so the actual number is in the 200s.
ReplyDeleteLast year there were over 500 people shot with a firearm in Chicago alone, and over 400 of those were school children.
Case closed.
Huh?
DeleteIf "gun control" worked and we need to ban rifles like Obama and Biden are saying, then why did a city that has had a virtual ban on all private firearm ownership like Chicago have over 500 gun deaths, while the entire nation of 300 million plus had around 323 deaths with a rifle?
DeleteEvery single time some fascist would be gun banner in the media or politics runs their mouth, someone should immediately respond with:
ReplyDelete1) If violence against kids is so horrible, why do the same people have no problem with Obama's drone war that murders children just about every week? What about Obama murdering a 16 year old US citizen via drone strike?
2) Why do these same people not have a problem with Obama's Drug War that causes most of the violence?
3) Why the focus on the type of firearm that is responsible for less than 2% of murders instead of things that are involved in the most like pistols?
4) If "assault rifles" can only kill a lot of people quickly, why do the police need them but not the citizens?
5) Why were over 200 million people murdered by their own government in the last century? How come virtually all of them engaged in licensing, registration, permits, and a "need" for firearms that then led to mass confiscation each time? If rifles can't stop governments, then why did all of the states engaging in democide in the last century make sure and disarm the people first?
6) Why is Obama trying to ban the same sort of rifles that he gave to Mexican Drug Cartels and Al Queda linked terrorists in Libya and Syria?
LOL - Bloomberg was asked if he would disarm in the spirit of gun control and he stuttered and stumbled and walked away and had his security goons come intimidate the reporter and ask his name and date of birth. Benito can't stand being questioned!

Two hilarious stories linked off of Drudge today about the media matters owner using company money to buy a glock with cash in Maryland that his bodyguard used to protect him against DC and NYC law bc he did not have a permit. Then the other one is about Bloomberg having his storm troopers harass and intimidate a reporter who asked if he will disarm his guards.

Haha. These pieces of trash really think they're better than the rest of us and can just whatever they want while telling us what we can and can't do.
