Update for the Rand apologists in the comments below who claim that Rand, above, is not wearing a yarmulke, but that the white above his head is part of the wall.
How does wearing a yarmulke make one a sellout? If I were to enter a synagogue or temple in America today I would be asked to where one. It wouldn't make one bit of difference in my stance toward the state of Israel, but I would do so out of respect for my hosts. Or is simply be respectful of Jewish custom that big of an offense?
American politicians have a habit of using the kippah in Israel to kiss the butts of American Jews. There's nothing respectful about their actions.
One could make the argument that Judaism jumped the shark when George W. Bush was allowed to don a kippah when he made aliyah...I mean, when he visited Israel.
The very simple point is this: Rand Paul, like all the others, is treating Israel like it's a 51st state, and you can see this from his arguments as shown in another post on this blog.
Ask yourselves this, would Dr. Ronald ERNEST Paul EVER acquiesce like this? Talk about 'conquered.'
If Rand becomes the POTUS, and visits a 3rd world monarchy whose greeting custom is to kiss the foot of the said 'monarch,' SHOULD he do it?
Don't be ridiculous; it may be a ploy, or out of respect, but the fact that Rand sees fit to play games with lunatic AIPAC set, when the wiser Elder NEVER bothered to, because it goes against all his principles, and the Younger still hasn't learned that the reason why his father is BELOVED is precisely because his principled philosophy is ROCK solid and has always chosen to act on them as guided by those principles when they count the most, WHY BOTHER playing the 'game?'
Hmmm. Apparently, he's damn serious about actually winning the GOP nomination. What, will we not vote for Sen. Paul if he could possibly be better than any President we've seen in generations?
I do fear that in his quest to be electable, Rand Paul will eventually sound very moderate on issues many of us care so much about. He's clearly made the decision to be a moderate on foreign policy- drop all his dad's fundamental opposition to the US govt's aggression in favor of staking out the middle ground. This is still quite radical by the standards of DC politics, but disappointing, nonetheless
yeah, he's garbage compared to his father. i'm not voting for him. that yarmulke says it all. Maybe he can get into hollywood and bohemian grove if things go well with the zionists.
While I support libertarianism, it baffles me why people who can see the economic and civilizational disaster facing the USA and the West so clearly, are blinded when it comes to Jews and Israel. Israel is in the forefront of the major threat to western civilization and our economic well-being i.e. Islamic fascism. If Israel falls, so will the USA and Europe. It will galvanize the world's Moslems, just like the fall of Christian Serbia against the Muslim resurrection there. There, too, the West collaborated with the Muslims against the Christians. We must learn from our mistakes. Demonizing Israel and the Jewish people is cutting your nose to spite your face.
Quick, run to Glenn's Gulch! Run as fast you can, little kafir! Should Israel ever fall before the gates of Vienna, only he will be able to save you from the mighty caliphate and its elite legions of secret Muslim infiltrators! And don't forget to pack your Reynolds Wrap kippa! It'll prevent taqiyya beams from penetrating your mind.
Rand made a few very troubling statements early in his career which people like Justin Raimondo caught and - rightfully - warned these slips were a brief look into the abyss. Raimondo penned several very good articles claiming Rand was no 'Libertarian' in the mold of his father (which Rand now has clearly shown). Lew Rockwell shrugs his shoulders and states matter-of-factly that he always knew Rand was really a statist than a 'Libertarian,' and that his actions were of no surprise to him. It now appears - per this photo - that both Raimondo and Rockwell were both dead-on right. Rand is not someone to be trusted to carry his father's torch.
Looking for purchasing yarmulkes (Kipot, kippa, kippahs) and benchers (grace after meals) with personalized, gold, stamping for your Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Wedding and other special Jewish occasion. http://www.yarmulkes.com/
As a self-professed libertarian-leaning conservative, Rand happens to be Christian in his private religious belief. In Christian Scriptures, the apostle Paul wrote that non-Jewish believers are free to neglect any and every Jewish custom and law because Christ fulfilled them that were shadows, Christ being the substance, making them obsolete. But Paul also instructed believers to be at peace with all men, as much as possible, which included eating foods sacrificed to idols and circumcision, such that it were possible to accommodate a custom of which you're free in order to remove as much offense as possible without compromising the integrity of your differing message and belief. It's conceivable to me that Rand may accommodate the custom of donning a yarmulke to remove as much offense as possible from before the religious and political sensibilities of the Israeli people. What his true motives are I don't pretend to ascertain, but I think it safe and sound to eschew the preemptory censure of such an act as pandering to Jewish or Israeli power at the expense of compromising his message.
But he's not a sellout...noooooooo.

Why is he visiting Israel, exactly?
DeleteWhy is he not visiting India, instead?

THAT is why he is a sell-out.

Deletejewish community is very powerful and well organized. Their influence in banking, media, lobbyism is legendary.
DeleteWhite people are gullible, weak and disorganized. that is why everyone, blacks, jews, hispanics, asians, uses them like a tampon.
whites are aging, shrinking and dying. Jews will decide the destiny of white people.
Jews are fed up with the zionist agenda too!

Rand's tactic is no strategy at all.
Yeah, I am not the least bit antisemitic... but that's disgusting. Rand Paul sucks.
