 Not a single MP in Cyprus voted in favor of the deposit tax.

Cyprus vote on deposit tax: 36 votes "no", 19 abstain

  3. Good but haven't they now assured a bank run? If I had money in Cyprus I'd definitely take advantage of this chance to get it out. It seems the matress is the safest place for money these days.

  5. With interest rates at records lows, the only banks worthy of cash deposits are the banks of Sealy, Serta, Simmons, and Sterns & Foster.
