Elizabeth Warren: "Thanks to federal agencies that no one has to worry that those white pills are baking soda instead of antibiotics"

In a speech to the Consumer Federation of America, Elizabeth Warren went full crazed interventionist.  Among other things, she said:
It’s thanks to federal agencies that no one has to worry that those white pills are baking soda instead of antibiotics or that the paint on the baby’s crib is laced with lead.
It's really hard to believe that this woman thinks that without government agencies people would be consuming white pills made of baking soda instead of antibiotics. She clearly has no idea how free markets function in manner whereby they police themselves. What she is doing with the comment above is justifying government intervention throughout the economy.

  3. Oh my God, this has got to be one of the most idiotic things I have ever read. Even if she was right I'd still rather take my chances with the baking soda than live under her thumb.

  4. This woman is like a god to liberals and progressives, its fucking creepy. They love that she is their ruler, and honestly i really wouldnt care that she is except that by making her their ruler they also are making her mine, which is what they really want, for their rulers to rule all others.

Fuck them and fuck this democracy.

People that want to bow before the government and kiss their rulers ankles like theyre some kind of gods creep me out, and elizabeth warren just panders to these types who believe they wouldnt survive a day without the government and everything they have is thanks to their wonderful and thoughtful rulers so that she can get more and more power and be in greater control of others.

she'll probably run for president some day, scary thought

  5. Shes only stating the obvious, we'd all be in great danger if our rulers and authorities werent protecting us and looking out for our well being, its even possible we might all be helpless or dead without our rulers! She'll be president someday, i'm sure of it, liberals and progressives treat this creepy auhoritarian feminist like she's a god, theyre just begging to bow down before her and kiss her ankles.

    Democracy is fucked.

  6. What about all the people who have died from government approved prescription drugs?

Let's not forget the sick people who have died because the FDA took so long to approve of new medicine/medical devices.

I'd like to see Robert Higgs debate Elizabeth Warren.

  7. It's unfathomable how misguided and misinformed one has to be to hold such views. Her statements are vomit inducing and reek of the holier than thou mentality that most leftist carry with them. If we don't kiss the ring of the almighty State our lives will be in complete disarray. This wise group of men and their vastly superior knowledge will save each of us from the depths of hell. Sickening.

  8. What this means is that there is not a single judge in the USA, all of whom come out of liberal/statist law schools, who would ever entertain a simple action for fraud by an average citizen. Isn't the brilliant Ms. Warren a law professor?

Actually, if you could ever sit through an episode of Matlock each morning on WGN from Chicago, every five minutes you would sit through four minutes of ads for lawyers about suing drug companies.

And thanks to the FDA, we now have the dementia epidemic caused by FDA tested drugs.

  9. "It’s thanks to federal agencies that no one has to worry that those BLUE SHIRTS are RAPING KIDS instead of PROTECTING US or that the WHISTLE-BLOWER on the PRESIDENT'S KILL LIST is KILLED with DRONES."

    Fixed it for her.

  10. She may very well be planting the seeds to become the first Native American president.

  11. Heparin, melamine, cadmium, salmonella etc. all make their way into drugs, food and toys under the "watchful" eye of the FDA. The Chinese keep one set of quality control records for the West and it's mostly fiction.

  12. After a while you start to understand the mindset of the US government. They are under the very strange impression that the US is a communist country. In a communist country, there is only one source for all products and services, the state, and you need government to regulate everything because there is no competition. Well the last time I looked, the US economy is still somewhat of a free market and isnt totally communist, yet.
