Getting Deeper Into Kinsella's Head

The latest insult from Stephan Kinsella comes via his Facebook page:
Typical Wenzel: totally PWNed by Rand Paul, and he shamelessly promotes it as if this is to his credit. Wow.

  1. Seems like Kinsella just thinks youre a joke.

    Looking forward to the debate...

  2. I don't even see how that could be interpreted as a "PWN". All Rand Paul ends up saying in that clip is that "the hair is genuine".

  3. Though I predict Kinsella will wipe the floor with you on the IP debate (I also anticipate you will not acknowledge it), I have to admit his behavior as an individual leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately ideas are what matter, so his petty behavior is just an annoyance.

But in this particular issue, I think you could be a bit more sensitive. Kinsella's enthusiasm in siding with Paul over the accusation that Rand wears a rug can't help but be somewhat influenced by Kinsella's own follicly-challenged status. Bald guys stick together. ;)

    1. I also predict Kinsella is going to demolish Wenzel, and that Wenzel is going to claim victory regardless.

  4. I agree with Brian. Why do you guys have to start making this personal? I'm with Kinsella too on IP, but with Wenzel on almost everything else including Rand. Rand is fair game because he stepped into the public sphere, but can't you guys keep it a little more civil and remember who the bad guys are?

  5. Personally, I think Kinsella is acting a bit childish with all this bolstering. Anyone with any amount of self-esteem doesn't need to act this way.

That aside, I am looking forward your intellectual discussion with him. I agree with his ideas on IP. He presents a very intelligent and well thought out case. However, I've also heard you come up with some very intelligent, coherent, free-market ideas.

In the scope of IP, I welcome a healthy discussion of the issues and alternatives. Something needs to be done. Patents and copy-writes are favored monopolies held over from the King granting favors to his crony friends in the form of sole ownership.

Working in the IT industry for most of my entire career, I've been involved in an IP lawsuit against my current employer. As a software developer, am acutely aware of the monetary issues at stake.

    1. Making fun of others doesn't necessarily imply low self esteem.

  6. Seems like Kinsella is in your head, Wenzel.

Every time he mentions you, you rush to post what he says on your blog.

He's deep, deep, DEEP inside your head. Way in there. At the core. Shaking you up so much you keep track of every time he makes fun of you.
