Jesse Benton Reaches Out to Capture the "Harlem Shake" Vote, for Mitch McConnell

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's re-election campaign on Tuesday posted a video of a person wearing a mask of the senator and other people dancing to the "Harlem Shake."

"We are putting it out because we plan to work hard but also plan to have a lot of fun," McConnell campaign manager Jesse Benton told CNN.

Note: I'm travelling today and played this video in a cafe. A woman at the next table heard the music, turned to me and asked, "Did you win something?"

  1. Abraham Lincoln? Nice, Jesse, real nice.

  2. Interesting use of "Rosie the Riveter" in McConnell's propaganda video, almost front and center.

A perfect choice of old war propaganda for war monger Mitch. Benton sure is doing a bang up job.
