Why Obamacare Will Result in a Decline in Cash Wages

This will be especially burdensome on the least skilled. Casey Mulligan explains:
The least-skilled workers are seeing their wages fall over time, largely because they are out of work and failing to acquire the skills that come with working. Moreover, the new health care regulations going into effect in January are expected to reduce cash wages, as many employers of low-skill workers are hit with per-employee fines of about $3,000 per employee per year, as the law mandates new fringe benefits for other employers and low-skill workers have to compete with others for the part-time jobs that are a popular loophole in the new legislation.

  1. This is mightily encouraging to read as a young adult looking for work. How people are still buying this idea of this administration being an "asset of the striving poor" as I heard one local goon say is beyond me.

And yet there probably won't be any notable complaints from a significant number of Obama supporters until the metaphorical boot materializes and tangibly smashes their collective faces in the mud.

Even then they won't blame Obama. They'll blame the "greedy" "rich" who won't spend every penny they earn to support the bottom-feeders.
