House Votes to Fully Repeal Obamacare

In the wake of the IRS scandal where the IRS had targeted Tea Party and other conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, a repeal of Obamacare has passed in the House. By a vote of 229-195, the GOP-led House passed a bill to defund all of Obamacare. Unfortunately, there is little chance, as in very little, that the bill will pass in the Democratically controlled Senate.

Further it looks like House Speaker John Boehner would only want to tinker with Obamacare and not bury it. According to ABC News, as the House voted to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act Thursday evening, the Speaker  expressed “serious concerns” that the IRS is empowered as the law’s chief enforcer.

“Fully repealing ObamaCare will help us build a stronger, healthier economy, and will clear the way for patient-centered reforms that lower health care costs and protect jobs,” Boehner, R-Ohio, said.

Freedom is the only "reform" that Americans should be interested in, not moving the chips from the Obama cronies onto the Boehner side of the table.
