Shootings in Rahmaland Cost Each Household in the City $2,500

Shootings in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood, the childhood home of First Lady Michelle Obama, have frightened residents and caused businesses to flee. Gun violence in the community and elsewhere in the city cost Chicago $2.5 billion a year, or $2,500 per household, according to Jens Ludwig, director of the University of Chicago Crime Lab. Bloomberg's Tim Jones has a video report here.
