The 10 Smartest Kids In The World (And The Crazy Math Problems They Can Solve)

Business Insider got Brilliant.org to identify the "10 smartest kids in the world".

I doubt I could agree with a methodology involved to put together the list of "the 10 smartest," however, I'm sure these kids are all very, very smart.

Of note, 4 out of 10 are from the US, but, of those 4, 3 appear to be Asian descent. There's one from the Philippines,  but his last name appears Chinese, Farrell Wu. And there is one from Ethipoia, but he appears to have partial Asian features. Of the 10, there is only one Caucasian, Joey Hudy.

Is it time to start reading Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua, while you home school your child via  Ron Paul's home school program?

The slideshow from BI about the kids is here.

BTW, honorable genius award mention to BI for goosing page views by creating 23 slide pages to list the names of the 10 kids.

  3. Why are only math and science achievements associated with intelligence? Why are prodigies in the arts and humanities included in this list of the "smartest"? What about the 12 year old who plays Rachmaninoff 2..is he not smart?
