The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations said the Fish Price Index has climbed throughout the year. Amid brisk demand from emerging markets, global production is forecast to rise 2.9% in 2013 from last year. However, higher feed costs and supply problems for some fish, such as salmon, are pressuring prices.
