At least four people were killed and 23 others wounded in Chicago gun violence since Friday, police said.
In a particularly bloody period early Sunday morning,six people were shot.
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen in the 7800 block of South Langely Avenue and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.
Around 3:10 a.m., a 25-year-old man walked into Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left knee and right leg. He was shot in the 1200 block of West Washburne Avenue, according to police.

Around 12:47 a.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the leg. The shooting occurred along Throop Street near 109th Street, police said. The teen was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital.
Less than an hour earlier, a 26-year-old man was shot in the forearm in the 6100 block of South Vernon Avenue. He was taken to University of Chicago Hospital for treatment.
