Bevin Comes Out Swinging Against 'Mud Slinging Mitch' McConnell

Mitch McConnell campaign manager Jesse Benton. is not going to like this.

This morning, Kentucky hedge fund manager Matt Bevin  announced he will be running against McConnell in the Kentucky Republican senate primary.

“Never before in American political history has the leader of a party lost a primary election,” Bevin said in his prepared remarks. “Never. But never before has it been so important to make that happen.”

Bevin also called it correct during his speech, when he said, "the Republican party is as complicit in our impending deficit crisis as the Democratic party.”  Of course, McConnell, as Senate minority leader, is the leader of the Republican band of thieves.

Yes, this is not going to be fun for McConnell or Jesse. Reports indicate that "Team Mitch" had already launched a failed effort to muscle Bevin into not running. I wonder who was behind that mess, Jesse?

Bevin seems to be a pretty tough guy, who is not going to be intimidated by Jesse's antics. During a Q & A, following his prepared marks, Bevin called McConnell “mud slinging Mitch.”---which McConnell is. Benton, of course, is McConnell's chief  mud slinger. With Bevin in the race, we may find out that Jesse is hurling mud while standing in the middle of quicksand.

Bevin may end up being a real problem for McConnell's and Jesse's careers. Get the popcorn ready.

  1. That would be sweet, sweet justice.

Benton is a fat slob who stole money from RP donors to throw RPs campaign so he could cozy up with the establishment.

See what happens when you make a deal with the devil...
