Crony Larry Summers vs. Janet Yellen

As Larry Summers and Janet Yellen vie for the chairmanship of the Federal Reserve, it is interesting to note the number of visits to the White House made by both in the last two years.

Zach Goldfarb reports that Summers visited White House 14 times in past 2yrs. Janet Yellen visited once, according to White House records.

Clearly, Summers is playing a much better inside game.

I hasten to add, it really doesn't matter who gets the Fed position. The White House will make sure it is a money printer. That said, it appears that Yellen would start upping the money printing right out of the gate, while Summers is more of an unknown quantity as to how much printing he will do and when.
