Janet Yellen's Sticky Inflation Hedge

The Federal Reserve has released the financial disclosure forms of the seven Fed governors.

According to Janet Yellen's financial disclosure form,  she lists joint  ownership with her husband, economist George Akerlof, of a stamp collection. She lists the stamp collection as being worth between $15,000 and $50,000.

Since assets like stamps climb in value during price inflation, if she becomes Fed chair and prints money into the hands of the banksters, I'm sure that it will be comforting for her to know that some will end up boosting the price of her tiny little stamps.

According to WaPo, the stamp collection, " has apparently been in the family for quite some time; a 1997 article in The Washington Post about Clinton administration officials’ assets, based on their financial disclosure forms at that time, said that Yellen inherited a stamp collection with that same valuation range from her mother."
